The specialism
Perfectionism, the specialism.
A Magic Circle law firm has retained this consultancy for 6 years running, because perfectionism and high performance live in the same people, and professional services firms are full of both.
The premise
What exacting standards build, and quietly take.
Most genuinely high-performing professionals are perfectionists, and most have never examined what it’s costing them. The cost tends to arrive quietly: procrastination that looks like poor time management but is actually fear, burnout that gets diagnosed as a workload problem, teams that can’t make a decision because no version ever feels finished.
The specialism isn’t removing high standards. It’s separating the standard from the fear underneath it, so organisations keep the performance without absorbing the cost.
“This isn’t wellness theatre. It’s behavioural insight that senior professionals actually use.”
For organisations
The workshop, and the twelve modules after it.
The Perils of Perfectionism is one of the CPD workshops, delivered live to a team or a whole practice group. What tends to happen next is that a handful of people want to carry on, and there is nothing to give them.
The twelve modules are that follow-through. Ninety minutes each, a week at a time, worked through privately by whoever wants them. Not therapy, not a diagnosis: a structured way of seeing the pattern clearly enough to do something about it.
For an organisation the two are quoted together and invoiced, licensed for your people rather than bought one at a time by each of them. We price it against numbers and how you want it delivered, so there is nothing for anyone to put on expenses.
For individuals
Or come to it on your own.
Not everyone arrives through an employer. The same twelve modules are sold directly on stacythomson.co, where the first two are free and you can read a module before deciding. If someone would rather do this privately than through work, that is the route to send them - it is a separate purchase, and nothing about it comes back to their organisation.
